It’s almost time to update your spring wardrobe essentials! Spring is almost here and I couldn’t be any more excited to shop for new clothes. Spring is such a great time to change up your style, experiment, or replenish those must-have items for the year. It’s time to remove all of your bulky winter coats and snow boots from your wardrobe and add some cozy sweaters and trendy jackets to the mix!
Everyone’s style may vary, from vintage and trendy, to sporty and casual. It’s important that you find clothing that makes you FEEL good. This means having the basics that make dressing up or down, easy and seamless.
Let’s find out what the best spring wardrobe essentials are this year!

Denim Jean Jacket
Everyone loves a good denim jacket to layer over a cute white t-shirt or sweater. We know Spring is infamous for chilly mornings and evenings, making a jacket one of the most ideal additions to your wardrobe. There are so many varieties of jean jackets, from distressed to crop! For a warm option, check out this sherpa jean jacket. I personally love the ideal men’s jean jacket for the perfect oversized fit like this jean jacket, which I absolutely adore. I’m a sucker for a good sleeve cuff. Pair it with some green chinos or you can master the art of layering denim with some cute blue jeans.
Boyfriend Jeans
These Boyfriend jeans are my weakness! I love a good in the jean knee or thigh. Paired with a cute crop top or turtleneck, boyfriend jeans are super adaptable. Take them out for a night out and transform them with some cute stiletto or block heels and you have an instant date outfit. Boyfriend jeans should definitely be a part of your spring wardrobe this year!
Booties
The season has come to show some ankles! These Booties make for the perfect shoe on a Spring Day, providing enough warmth and airflow for your feet. Whether a high block heel (my personal favorite) or low, these shoes can make any outfit. You can put on a cute dress, a skirt, or your favorite jeans and still rock your booties making this shoe a must-have for your Spring wardrobe.
Neutral Sweaters + Turtlenecks
Who doesn’t love a good cozy nude color sweater?! Sweaters and turtlenecks make for easy and comfy outfits. They are great for a trip to the grocery store or an evening out with friends. Pair your turtleneck with cute high-waisted jeans and sneakers or dress it up with cute boots and some hoops! If you’re lucky, you’ll find an oversized turtleneck sweater to add to your Spring Wardrobe! Check out one of my favorite sweaters from H&M!
Fanny Pack
You must get your hands on a fanny pack this Spring! Cute, functional, and fashion-forward, this bag can go great with a casual outfit for a day in a park, or a more edgy outfit for a night out at a bar. You can wear it around your waist, across your chest, or on your shoulder. I love this fanny pack by Herschel! It is small and compact, making it easy to carry personal items. This makes this bag a must-have!
Sneakers
Sneakers can be super trendy or low-key and casual. I love me some Keds (my favorite…I literally buy these white pair 3 times a year lol), Converses, and Reeboks, but can also rock me a pair of Nike’s with many of my outfits. Having narrow feet, I really appreciate the slim look of Keds. Get a pair of sneakers that helps to complete your outfits, keep you comfortable, helps you take a quick walk, or drive for some food. Either way, have a pair ready to enjoy this Spring Weather!
Camel Coat
I’ve searched for the perfect camel coat for the last two years and finally found one! A camel coat can be paired with an oversized hoodie, leggings, and some cute sneakers or jazz it up with a sweater, your favorite blue jeans, and some cute booties. I found my coat at Old Navy but unfortunately, it is out of season. However, check out this Calvin Klein instead! It’s super cute!
T-shirts
T-shirts are a basic staple to any wardrobe, especially in the Spring. You can’t go wrong with a comfortable tee. Perfect for layering, t-shirts help you prepare for warmer weather during the day. Add a simple sweater or a jean jacket over a clean white v-neck tee. I get my favorite tees from Gap!
There are also t-shirt options for work such as a boatneck tee or my favorite, a tissue turtleneck. You can even layer it with a blazer, cute flats, a cute hairstyle and you’re ready to go!

Culottes (The Cropped Pant)
This wide-legged pant is my newfound love giving its versatility and many different styles. A high-waisted culotte can be casual or dressed up depending on the choice of shoes and top. I found my favorite linen culotte pant at H&M. Here is a similar culotte pant at H&M. It’s a super comfortable and playful piece of clothing and by far one of the tops must-haves in your closet for the Spring.
